There is good access, with national roads just a few kilometres away.
A - 68 Basque Country-Aragon Motorway. Junction nº 10 corresponds to the Rioja town of Cenicero, which is just 6 km from Elciego.
N - 232 Saragossa-Logroño. As with the previous access, it also passes through the town of Cenicero.
A - 124 This runs alongside the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range, from Logroño to Vitoria. The exits for Elciego are in Laguardia, Leza and Samaniego at 6, 8 and 9 km from the town respectively, corresponding to the A-3210, the A-3212 and the A-3214.
